The Last 55 - saving the worlds smallest dolphin species

Featured on:

55 is not a big number. But that's how many Maui's Dolphins were left in the world in 2013.

WWF wanted to bring the plight of this treasured species to the attention of the public to give the Maui’s a chance at survival. So we made New Zealanders realise how little 55 really is.

The current (2019) population of Mauis Dolphins is estimated to be at 65.

We created a handmade typeface to be used throughout the campaign, mimicking the style of protesters picket sign paint.
